We are a couple of outdoors enthusiasts who are environmentally conscious. We enjoy nature, whether it is hiking, biking, skiing, canoeing or kayaking. We believe that because legislation that established the Adirondack Park in 1892 initiated a tradition of conservation, it is capital that today’s users of the resource carry on that tradition. We trust that by responsibly enjoying our public lands today, we can guarantee the same opportunities for future generations.
We love the Adirondacks.
What else would you expect from a region known for six million acres of incredible outdoor recreation? Hike a High Peak and marvel at the far-reaching views, or explore one of the largest hiking trail systems in the country. Spend an afternoon paddling one of the region’s 3,000 lakes and ponds, tour historic Great Camps, or hop aboard a steamboat for a romantic excursion.
We also love Lake Placid.
Lake Placid is a wonderful family vacation destination. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the challenging bike terrain, miles of hiking/running/skiing trails and crisp mountain lakes. You can also relive Olympic history on Main Street, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games. Bobsled or luge, ski or skate in the Olympic Village. From tantalizing restaurants, to award-wining micro-breweries, feed your inner gourmand and feast upon spectacular views. Enjoy unique museums and arts, each celebrating a history that continues to fascinate and enthrall visitors.
Explore the beauty that is the Adirondacks and discover why we’ve kept returning after close to 15 years of visits!
